Welding Career Cart

Description:   The welding cart demonstrates the process of welding and its uses. The students will be provided with equipment to test out their skills in welding. They are tested on their accuracy and speed, and scores are allocated when they are done. Project Challenge: Use an augmented reality welding simulator to test skills and aptitude for welding Try to beat your best score or compete with your classmates to get the highest score Key Student Activities: Simulate MIG welding of three common weld joints (groove, tee, and lap) and receive a score Record the score for each attempt, and try to improve in each successive attempt Relevant Careers: Welder, Manufacturing, Construction
