DATES Friday February 14, 2025 | 1:30 - 2:30 DESCRIPTION It's a job few actually like to do, but learning to invisibly seam Stockinette And Garter stitches will make your finished knitted item last longer and make it look professional, store bought, haute couture!  Ends can be dealt with as you go or once a project is finished Working from a sample swatch (see below), we will work vertical seams on Stockinette and Garter stitch swatches, and if there is time, seam a horizontal to vertical edge. HOMEWORK (Required!!!!!) Stockinette stitch swatches (make 2):  Using smooth, light colored worsted or DK weight yarn, and needles appropriate for that yarn, cast on 20 stitches and knit Stockinette stitch (knit 1 row, purl 1 row) until your swatch is at least 3 inches tall.  Bind off and weave in ends.
