This album was released on December 6, 1968 and quickly certified Gold by the RIAA on December 23, 1968 for $1 million worth sold.  The album that brought the world the Stones classics "Sympathy for the Devil" and "Street Fighting Man", Beggars Banquet became one of the group's most highly  acclaimed albums and the last to feature Brian Jones, whose untimely death occurred in mid-1969.
