RIAA Gold 45 "white matte" Single Award for the Rolling Stones single "Ruby Tuesday" presented to Stones multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones. The single was released on January 13, 1967 off their Between The Buttons album and certified Gold by the RIAA on May 1, 1967 for one million copies sold. Remember Rolling Stones founding member Brian Jones (1942-1969) with this award. A double A-side single backed with "Let's Spend The Night Together", "Ruby Tuesday" has become a Stones classic. One of a long string of well-known hits from the Stones' legendary career, it went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, #3 in the UK and it also charted highly in many other countries.
