This album was released on January 20, 1967 and quickly certified Gold by the RIAA on Feb. 24, 1967 for $1 million worth sold.* The album that brought the world the Stones classics "Ruby Tuesday" and "Let's Spend The Night Together", became one of the group's most highly acclaimed albums and one of the last to feature Brian Jones, whose untimely death occurred in mid-1969. Jones, who had previously mainly played guitar on Stones recordings, expanded his range by contributing parts on organ, marimba, vibraphone, and kazoo.
