Description Tannoy CMS503DCPI 5" Full Range Ceiling Loudspeaker with Dual Concentric Driver (Pre-Install) [Priced Individually, Sold in Pairs] The Tannoy CMS503DCPI is a professionally designed 5" Full-Range Ceiling Loudspeakers made by Tannoy that comes including two full-bandwidth, high-power handling, and high-sensitivity loudspeakers built around Tannoy's CMS 3.0 Ceiling Monitor System technology. Based on a dual-concentric point-source driver, the speaker is capable of delivering a wide and consistent broadband directivity, intelligibility, and an accurate and linear response and are designed for installation applications. The dual-concentric driver design comes featuring an Omnimagnet technology and the Torus Ogive Waveguide device, these two together are capable of providing an consistent and controlled directivity along with improved high-frequency response. Time alignment and coherence between low and high frequencies is possible to enhance performance both on- and off-axis. The baffle is built for providing a subtle extension to the wave-guide effect for additional sonic benefits. The loudspeaker comes featuring an extra clamp extension capable of accommodating a thicker ceiling panels, and a locking design that is made for preventing an inadvertent over-screwing. The magnetic grille attachment is enabling an easy removal and fitting intended for custom painting. It comes utilizing a 16-Ohm driver that makes it ideal for use in high-performance, low-impedance systems. A low insertion-loss 30W transformer is included, with convenient front switching intended for taps at 30W, 15W, and 7.5W that comes along with an additional 3.75W tap for traditional constant voltage systems. Each speaker comes including a grille, two tile support rails, and a C-ring. This pre-install model is supplied without a back can.
