Named after the Brandywine River in Chester County, Pennsylvania, the Brandywine Red tomato is an Amish heirloom that produces excellent yields of red, juicy slicing tomatoes. Healthy, potato-leaved plants produce heavily and consistently throughout the growing season. Brandywine red tomatoes average 10 to 16 ounces each and have an outstanding, old-fashioned flavor. Harvests begin approximately 85 days from transplant. Each packet contains a minimum of 50 seeds.
