Sage is a popular garden herb that produces textured, gray-green leaves which are commonly used to season beef, poultry, sausages, and fish. Perennial, evergreen plants grow 1 to 2 feet tall eventually producing lovely purple flower stalks that are attractive to bees and other insects.
