Jackson Wonder Bush Lima (Speckled Butter Bean)

Developed in 1988, Jackson Wonder is a prolific producer of beautiful cream-colored butterbeans with maroon stripes and speckles.  Compact, 18 to 24-inch plants are drought-resistant, heat-tolerant and productive right up until frost, making them a great variety for any garden or homestead.  The speckled butter beans have a buttery texture, a delicious, slightly nutty flavor, and cooking them produces a thick, creamy pot liquor that is excellent for blending in the flavors of other ingredients.  65 days to harvest.  Each packet contains a minimum of 50 seeds.
