Nantes Carrot

Nantes is an heirloom carrot dating back to the 1880's.  This fast-growing variety produces deep orange, six to seven-inch-long, cylindrical carrots with a crisp, sweet flavor.  The Nantes carrot matures at least a week ahead of most other varieties, which makes it a great variety for both spring and fall planting.  Nantes carrot seeds are easy to grow and are often a popular variety for first-time growers.  With a bit of preparation, you too could be harvesting fresh, heirloom carrots from your own garden!  Matures approximately 60 to 75 days to harvest.  Each packet contains a minimum of 150 seeds.
