Parisian Carrot (Paris Market)

Also known as Parisienne or Paris Market carrots, Parisian Carrots are a unique variety of carrots that produce round, globe-shaped roots with sweet, orange interiors.  One of the most popular carrot varieties in France, Parisienne carrots are beloved for their easy-to-grow nature and crisp, sweet flavor.  They can often be found in Paris markets tied in graceful bunches, perfectly embodying the Parisian's fondness for fresh, vibrant produce. Producing reliably and consistently even in heavy and rocky soils, Paris Market carrots are an ideal, easy-to-grow carrot for beginning gardeners and children's gardens. Our children helped plant our trial pot and we ended up with a shoulder-to-shoulder stand of perfectly uniform, ball-shaped carrots.  It was amazing to see the round globes filling out every square inch of soil.  In fact, were excited to photograph them in the ground, except this little one couldn't resist sneaking out and picking them.  Oh well, what's not to love about a child w
