Scarlet Bandit Bunching Onion

Scarlet Bandit is an open-pollinated variety of bunching onion that produces flavorful green onions with red-tinted bases.  The name of this variety is a bit of a misnomer as the color could be more accurately described as rosy pink rather than scarlet red, but it is nonetheless a beautiful variety.  The onions are mildly flavored and tender making them well-suited for use in salads and as a fresh garnish.  Plants have good cold tolerance and will overwinter in mild climates.  Matures approximately 90 days after sowing.  Each packet contains a minimum of 100 seeds.
