Spicy Globe basil is an ancient variety of basil that produces compact, mounded plants with small, flavorful leaves. Reaching just 12 to 18 inches in diameter, this little basil is well-suited for growing in containers and raised beds. The aromatic leaves have a sweet and spicy flavor that works well in a variety of dishes. Plants mature approximately 70 days after sowing, with harvests extended if flowers are kept pinched off. Native to south Asia, with a long history in numerous cultures across the continent. Each packet contains a minimum of 250 seeds.
