Whirlybird Nasturtium Mix

Whirlybird is a compact, non-trailing variety of nasturtium that features upward-facing, semi-double flowers in a delightful medley of gold, orange, red, peach, and yellow hues.  The cheerful flowers are set dramatically against large, dark green leaves that resemble lily pads. This versatile plant thrives in beds, borders, patio containers, and is equally at home nestled in vegetable gardens where it provides protection against a number of garden pests. 'Whirlybird Mix' demonstrates remarkable drought tolerance once established and blooms effortlessly from summer through fall. Its spicy, edible blossoms are a favorite among bumblebees and gardeners alike. You can get creative with them in salads or stuff them with cream cheese for a delectable treat. They also make a vivid garnish to enhance your culinary creations.  Plants grow 18 inches tall and bloom summer to fall.  Each packet contains a minimum of 25 seeds.
