About the art: We're surrounded by a world that treats beings from other planets with higher regard than fellow humans across imaginary borders. I live in a sanctuary city, which means we welcome migrants from other countries. Our residents are having culture clashes with refugees who are coming here because of conflict and natural disasters... tensions are rising. I made this jean to remind us to be kind to the people around us, treating them with the hospitality we would welcome aliens from other planets with.
