This is a fantastic example of a tripod bowl from the Greater Chiriqui region of Panama / Costa Rica. It has a bowl vessel set on top of three small legs. The bowl itself has a wide opening. It is circa 800-1200 AD. It has staining to the surface and wear consistent with age & use. It has geometric etching patterns to the surface.It measures about 4" tall by 6" wide.This is part of a collection that was purchased out of Western Mass by a life long collector.
